Well we were all set to close on Friday, but guess what? That didn't happen! Got additional conditions from the bank Thursday at 4pm that couldn't be met until Monday. So it's monday and we are expecting to close tomorrow! I am keeping my fingers crossed and can't wait to swing the demo hammer!

The adventure begins on our Ugly Blue House in West Seattle! When I say ugly all you have to do is look at the suspect picture to see what I mean. It is so bad that when I was doing the inspection, neighbors were telling me to tear it down. We are excited about this renovation, since we will be bringing this home back to it's original style. I will try to keep everyone updated as best as I can. In general I will try to post 2 times a week.

Our mortgage broker is great! It wasn't his fault. It was Chase Manhattans fault...who decided with the subprime meltdown they would try to cover their ass and kick out our lock. Well we got the mortgage and will be kickin it their way in about 3 months!
